We get down to business once the routine is established. Children need adjustment time and time to learn the rules of this classroom and this takes quite a while, especially with 25 kids (all of them usually wanting to use the restroom 5 times or more, and I have no aide).Sissynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32592788.post-32395532995343119392010-08-28T19:54:39.580-07:002010-08-28T19:54:39.580-07:00She looks so cute on her first day. Yep, I was one of those kids who waited until I got home (except the 1 or 2 times that I couldn't wait and was traumatized for having had an accident). Seriously, automatic toilets are scary to young kids - they are so big and you can't control them and you just don't know what's going to happen. Giving her some control over the toilet is a good thing.

And YOU - do not need the added stress of worrying about something that has a solution. Especially something that she will grow out of. Stop worrying! :)seadragonhttp://seadragon.typepad.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32592788.post-31796554851320417842010-08-23T21:22:02.723-07:002010-08-23T21:22:02.723-07:00Aw, I'm sure the teachers are used to kids who...Aw, I'm sure the teachers are used to kids who are scared of those toilets. At least, that's what I'm telling myself, because my daughter's going to be one of those who has to keep Post-Its in her cubby, too.Heatherhttp://www.jackadilloprincess.comnoreply@blogger.com
